April 2026 - Round-up
Wins, challenges and the month in numbers for April 2026.
April is the cruelest month wrote TS Eliot, and while last month wasn’t especially unpleasant it was certainly a busy one.
Wins
Hari’s personal time keeping tracked that 84% of her time was spent either delivering or prepping for training, which explains why the Easter and May Day long weekends proved a welcome break.
This month we delivered courses for both established and new clients, there were:
10 different virtual cohorts for a brilliant NGO working to prevent the climate crisis - Bron, Karen, Riccardo, Tash and Hari splitting the classes between them
Storytelling and Data classes for two of our most established clients
Riccardo took over to deliver the regular monthly webinar for the apprenticeship company that was one of our first ever clients back in 2021
3 onsite teaching days for a media brand talking about influence and data use for Hari and Riccardo
2 early starts for Hari teaching a 3 hour storytelling and presentation skills overview for one of our clients in Turkey
3 virtual classes for the brand new e-gaming client we’ve just started working with
The first of 2 onsite Storytelling for Business cohorts for a leadership development programme - which generated some lovely comments from attendees on LinkedIn
An afternoon of LSP in Crewe for Riccardo for a brand new client we’ve never worked with before (but hope to do so again soon!)
We’ve also been working with two new associates - Jen and Donna to develop new courses. Jen is a storytelling for sales expert who we’re delighted to have on board, and Donna has created a 3 hour course for performance and appraisal feedback that’s being delivered as a sister course for our talking tech to non-techies course later on in May.
We’ve been so busy building the courses with them that we haven’t had a chance to sit down and do a proper associate interview with either person yet - but watch this space!
We also have launched an entirely new course - Introduction to Media training! This was a proper group effort combing the knowledge and talents of journalist Michelle, marketing and PR expert Hayley, media storm survivor Grant as well as Hari’s presentation knowledge for a successful first delivery last week.
Oh and Aaron has a new standing desk that he’s very chuffed with.
Challenges
Can the sun come out a bit more please? All these grey clouds are getting us down…
But seriously, one of our biggest challenges is not having enough hours in the day, so we’re delighted to be working with Kay Nkuta who’s going to whip some PowerPoint decks and delivery guides into shape over the next few weeks.
The month in numbers
44 virtual and in-person sessions delivered
3 new associates we’re working with - Jen, Donna & Kay
4 new courses we need to add to our official catalogue
