Wins
We had a brilliant time at World of Learning 2026 in Birmingham. Hari and Aaron were onsite the whole time, as was Hayley supporting the brilliant L&D Free Spirits stand, and Riccardo dropped in for day 1. Always nice to spend a bit of face to face time with our brilliant team!
We had a particularly good time chatting with the World of Learning Mentors at their networking meet up on the second day of the conference and at the Learning Network drinks on Tuesday night. The L&D community really is full of lovely people.

Speaking of L&D Free Spirits both Hari and Aaron were conference speakers for L&D Free Spirits Live this month - Hari talked about feel the fear and do it anyway while Aaron shared his thoughts on the top five things freelancers should learn from project managers. The whole event was excellent as always, thanks Kim and Andy and the team for having us !
Hari got to add a new city to her training locations list - Rotterdam.
She caught the Eurostar over to the continent to deliver Delivery Excellence to the lovely Technical Marketing team at Intelligence Centre X of Siemens.
Challenges
Head colds hit Hari and Aaron in the second week of the month! Luckily we didn’t have any in-person training that week so we could keep our germs to ourselves.
As ever there is rarely enough time in the day for everything we want to do, but we’re going to try and do it anyway. Hari has just joined Mic Drop to learn a bit more about the business development for professional speakers from Alex Merry and community. Wish her luck!
Eating all the cake - our business turned 6 this month, so of course we had to have cake. But both of Hari and Aaron’s children also have October birthdays, and birthday parties and visiting family members who brought cake with them, so by the end of it we were all pretty caked out.
