Wins

It’s a few days early but it’s always better to be early than late in our opinion…

September is always a strange month - sometimes it is as if the Summer lull extends and things are quiet. Other times we have so many cohorts of classes that it has a real “back to school” feel. This year it was definitely the latter.

We’ve had a really busy selection of cohorts across three of our regular clients which has been great. And we’ve just confirmed a lovely piece of LSP work for October - though now we need to organise ourselves several new LSP bags to service that.

We’ve met so many brilliant people - and re-met a few familiar faces. It’s been a really great training month overall.

Challenges

There aren’t enough hours in the day - there’s so many things we want to do, and so many things we have to do, that juggling has been a real challenge this month.

Given the tube strikes we took to bikes for our commute - both the company Brompton and a Lime bike or two were used to make it to some early starts in Central London. Hari definitely needs to get slightly better at estimating the journey time by bike as she wasn’t technically late to one class, but it was a very close run thing.

One thing that definitely played on our minds this month was the need to include a “don’t use AI” instruction for future Storytelling and data classes - but we have already covered that, so won’t rehash it here.

Roll on October 2025 - we’re especially looking forward to the L&D Free Spirits Live conference (Hari is running a session) and World of Learning in Birmingham (we’re NOT running a session so can relax and network with our peers a bit).
